The Kings Mill — Morgan Creek Neighborhood is located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, home of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The neighborhood’s rolling land and old–growth forest, with houses nestled on large lots, is bordered by Fordham Boulevard (US 15–01–54) to the north, the North Carolina Botanical Garden to the east, and the conservation districts of Morgan Creek and Merritt’s Meadow to the west and south.

The Dean E. Smith Center (the Dean Dome basketball arena), Kenan Stadium, the UNC medical campus and UNC Hospitals are within walking distance, and many neighbors bicycle to the main campus and downtown Chapel Hill. The neighborhood was built in the 1950s and 60s and has a colorful history.
